Thank you for showing me to a style I'd never heard of, Harbour. It sounds sick, I love island grooves. Neat to see it's got a presence in Toronto, too bad I missed SLOWED in January. :/
I love the melody, it is catchy. I like the bass pulse, and the triangle is a good balancing factor. The composition is very subdued, and it creates an almost mysterious vibe for the character you are portraying. The use of 8-bit noises is stellar, especially the white noise for the percussion bits. The melody, I feel, is the strongest part of this song. Really well done! On a side note, however, I feel that the drum track could be explored in more detail. When it comes to 8-bit it is nice to see some other sounds being forced into a percussion role, rather than the standard white noise and such. I feel that it is sufficient, but I think you would do amazing work if you pushed the boundaries of percussion here.
Keep up the stellar music, I loved it!
